It’s only the second week of the new year but fashionistas all around the globe already have a jam-packed schedule, thanks to the ongoing Men’s Fashion Week. With a halt between the two fashion capitals, London and Milan, Pitti Uomo recently wrapped up its biannual trade show in Florence. Traditionally known to attract fashion’s biggest peacocks, this season’s street style showcased a mix of textures and plaids, finely tailored coats and over-sized bomber jackets, and pops of colours amidst a sea of neutrals. We give you a round-up of some of the dapper delights right from the streets of Florence.

Check It Out!

With winter still around the corner, the streets were lined up with tweeds and wool coats with a variety of checked patterns in autumnal shades.

Dressed to the Nines

Street style has evolved from baggy cargo trousers and ripped jeans to sartorial, sharp suits that not only fit well but also leave behind an air of elegance.

The Bomber Squad

Whoever said that bomber jackets are a dead trend could not have been more wrong. With the slight chill still lingering in the air, the bomber jackets were the go-to wardrobe staple.

Top It Off

The classic Fedora has stood the test of time and was quite visible on the streets of Florence.

Walk the Walk!

The fashion trade show stepped up its style quotient, literally, with the quirky footwear – right from colour coded sneakers and exquisite leather shoes to over-sized boots and laced up Converse trainers.
